To że lata osiemdziesiąte będą takie, a nie inne to można było łatwo przewidzieć. Natomiast docenianie takiego nudnego albumu jak The X Factor już niekoniecznie. Niestety...

Zdążyłem już zauważyć.

Nudny mógł się wydawać w 1995, kiedy to ta płyta ujrzała światło dzienne. Po wydaniu przez wielu uznawanego za bardzo dobry "Fear Of The Dark", każdy spodziewał się konkretnego strzału. A tu... Nie jeden się zawiódł... Ja też, kiedy po raz pierwszy usłyszałem ten materiał, położyłem lachę na Iron Maiden. Wolałem po raz pięćdziesiąty włączyć sobie już z lekka wtórny nawet "Masquerade" Running Wild. Z czasem jednak te płytę doceniałem, z każdym przesłuchaniem zyskiwała na plus. Dzisiaj z perspektywy czasu ,uważam, ze to bardzo dobra, bardzo spójna płyta. Oczywiście bardzo inna, i najmroczniejsza w dyskografii Iron Maiden.

I u mnie jeden z najgorszych roków. Tylko nr 1 słucham często, bardzo często a paru rzeczy z listy nawet na CD nie mam. Na szczeście rok później będzie znacznie lepiej (DIO - Magica i parę innych rzeczy)
