Na bazie ostatniego rankingu "perełek" przypomniałem sobie takie coś, co zrobiłem kilka lat temu i uzupełniłem po ukazaniu się Senjutsu. Niemal o tym zapomniałem. Do grupy "perełek" z innego tematu wchodzi tylko grupa A, łatwo więc wykminić jak wyglądałoby to w tamtym zestawieniu.

Kilka słów komentarza. Cóż, Maiden to jeden z moich zespołów ever, nie tylko w metalu. Lata '80te to absolutny top tej grupy pod względem twórczym, każdy z tych krążków to klasyka HM, dla fanów - wręcz religijny kult. Lata 90te to niestety najgorszy czas dla zespołu, potwierdza to powyższy ranking. No Prayer i VXI to moim zdaniem ich najsłabsza forma, płyty które mocno wyhamowały karierę zespołu. Dobrze, że powrócili Smith i Dickinson bo od 24 lat mówilibyśmy o zespole w czasie przeszłym. Począwszy od BNW możemy mówić o komercyjnym rozkwicie grupy i powrocie do wysokiej formy. Nie jest to kompozytorski Mount Everest z ósmej dekady XX w. niemniej płyty późnego Maiden bardzo przypadły mi do gustu. Pinio, serdeczne dzięki za "natchnienie".

Siłą tego solo jest to, że jest po prostu ładne i nawet gitarowa łajza przy odrobinie wysiłku jest je w stanie zagrać.
Nie wszystko musi być skomplikowane, żeby się podobać.
