O gustach... Ja po prostu Tool nie lubię

Rzeczywiscie ceny w tym roku na trasie były wyższe niż jeszcze 4 lata temu (nie licząc festiwali). Wydzielono GC na niektorych venue, czego nie było wcześniej. Dla przykladu za Dublin i GC zaplacilem prawie 800 zł (podobna cena była za GC w Barcelonie, Londynie czy Berlinie - te dwa ostatnie miasta i tak spadły z trasy), a w 2022 za Budapeszt, Pragę (nie odbył się tam koncert), Kraków i Berlin wychodziło mi koło 500 zł, zeby być na płycie. I tak stałem pod sceną, ale teraz musiałem zapłacić trochę więcej, żeby doświadczyć tego samego.

Cóz takie czasy, tanio już było. Już nigdy nie będziemy płacić tyle co kiedyś za pewne produkty i usługi. Kilka lat deflacji to zjawisko, które nam nie grozi obecnie.

Paradoksalnie koncerty w EU i tak tańsze niż w US. Z tego co widze to tam są bilety po 175-770 dolarów na koncert 22/08 w Missoula, MT.

EDDIE VEDDER responds to complaints about PEARL JAM’s extremely HIGH ticket PRICES.

In a recent interview with the magazine Visions, Vedder was asked about the exorbitant ticket prices on Pearl Jam’s current tour with the interviewer pointing out the issues with dynamic pricing and how the band, previously, wanted to do ticketing differently to make it fairer for fans.
Vedder responded, blaming the higher prices on increasing production costs:
“Unfortunately, that’s more complicated. After Corona, everyone wanted to go back on tour as quickly as possible, and why not? That doesn’t apply to us, but many colleagues are dependent on the income from tours for their livelihood. As a result, production costs have gotten completely out of hand. You can hardly find a crew anymore, there are problems organizing buses, stages, PA systems, venues. People say: ‘If you don’t pay my price, no problem, someone else will pay it.’ This even applies to service providers that we have been working with for over 30 years.”

The interviewer then asked Vedder if he can “understand that some fans in the forums seem to feel downright cheated?”
Vedder replied: “If we can save money, we pass it on to the fans. But it’s essential for us to at least cover our costs. If we had to pay extra and couldn’t earn any money at all, we wouldn’t go on tour anymore.”

He has propelled the last 27 years of Pearl Jam live shows and studio recordings. It was a deeply important chapter for our group and we wish him well always. He will be deeply missed and is forever our friend in art and music.
